Speakers of the Earth® Language Series. This Kiowa language sampler of the Kiowa language was recorded by Evalu Ware Russell, also known as "Kauauointy" (Honking Goose or Howling Crane). She was chosen to receive the Outstanding Indian Of Oklahoma Award, the OEA Human Relations Award and the Outstanding Indian of the United States and Canada. The result of her hunmanitarian work. On this tape you will hear various phrases words and songs relating to the Kiowa language. Native Kiowa speaker Evalu Ware Russell pronounces words and phrases in the Kiowa language. This program consists of one 47 minute audiotape with a onepage pronunciation guide.
